The Queen’s Obsession ~

I just love Miz Carla. She has taught me that being a Southerner (transplanted or otherwise) is not necessarily a bad thing….but can be absolutely wickedly delightful! heeeeee! We lead parallel lives her and I - right down to having Oompa Loompas. Though she’s MUCH more organized than I am. Miz Carla is also a faboo artist and I just love and treasure her gifts.
You may wonder why I’m talking about Miz Carla and saying all of these sweet things about her. Well suguhz, it’s because I want her to return mah phone call. MWAH! I thought I was bad about returning phone calls. . . . . . .I see I have been outdone!

Note 12/1: heh heh…..I just couldn’t believe mah eyez when I saw Miz Carla’s name on mah phone calling me yesterday afternoon!  Imagine that!  heeeeeeee!!!

Aaaaaah, there’s nothing like it.

The scent alone almost drives you to a most beautiful madness - as you sit there in your corner. Alone. Eyes glazed over. Your hands shaking. How long has it been? A day, a week, maybe a month or perhaps you only do it once a year. However long it’s been the one thing you do know is that you’re about to be transported to heaven.

With just one whiff from the bottle, sachet jar or whatever it is that holds that little bit of euphoria for you. It’s scent is musical - asking you to come and enjoy a banquet of the senses.
Right now dancing around me is aged Pogostemon cablin, Rosa b., Pelagonium gravelones, Eugenia caryophyllata, Zingiber officinale ……….oh it’s verra, verra nice.

I have been inhaling the scent from my hands like an absolute fiend. Is this what it’s like when one smells an angel’s wings?

There are always other scents that have the ability to do the same thing to me. Today, right now at this very moment it’s this - I don’t want the spell to be broken.

Just about everyone knows how in love I’ve been with Tallulahs over the years. If you love the vintage femmes….studio poses, postcards and the like….then Tallulahs is somewhere you should definitely be stopping by.

Yesterday Miz Tallulah surprised me by giving me my own page on her website! Lovies, I’m simply over the moon!

I have been sucha slacker about posting on my blogs.  Sawree!

I suppose I’ve just been having one obsession after the other with art, making perfumes and whipping up some buttuhs!!  YAY!  It’s FINALLY cool enough to make whipped buttuhs!

My mom has been very sick also - doesn’t that woman know that I have 500 million things to worry about already and she can’t be sick because she’s supposed to help me with the Oompa Loompas??  sheesh.  Thankfully she’s doing much better now!!  She had a heart attack and it was very touchy for a week…..but as I said thankfully she’s much better and in cardio rehab now.

Frankincense, spikenard, rose otto and galbanum are floating through my head these days…….
