Made me think of the opportunities I’ve had, and what I have before me. I had better get busy.
The Rose of Jericho, the Lazarus of the plant world, held a cherished place in many Renaissance collections of wonders. When dry, it looks like tumbleweed, and rolls across the deserts of Mexico and the Middle East in much the same manner. But it is not dead. Add a small amount of water and the Rose of Jericho comes back to life, blooming bright green. Stick it in a drawer and it “dies” all over again, waiting to be resurrected at some later date, months or even years in the future. The process can be repeated over and over. In some countries, the roses are passed down from generation to generation and brought out to bloom just once a year, at Christmas.

ATC swap - 6/5 Theme: Circus
Once again Leslie at Alpha Stamps has created the cutest collage sheets for the Circus swap! If you haven’t seen them yet - you can view them HERE . I’ve yet to find anyone who doesn’t love making or receiving ATCs sooooooo - are you gonna play?

ChiChi wasn’t here an hour and she was already humping Hennessy - who is 3 times bigger than she is. Zoe and Micah couldn’t figure out what she was doing and I was trying to figure out something clever to tell them and Zoe did it for me. She said, “CHICHI! Quit trying to get a piggy back ride from Hennessy!!” haaaaaaaa!!!
ChiChi chases Hennessy and is trying to establish herself as “the boss of all the dogs.” Zelda just looks at her and sniffs, then turns around - bored. She’s such a crochety old dame.
No big surprise - ChiChi sleeps with me curled up in a ball under the covers.
Hennessy looks at me like, why? Why you do this to me??? lol
Took her to Slim Daddy’s mama’s house yesterday to meet Scruffy who is a Shitz Su (sp?) 5 minutes after getting there ChiChi was chasing him around the coffee table and when she caught him she was…………..yep. You guessed it. Trying to hump Scruffy. Scruffy if he were a person would be a gay San Francisco hairdresser - he yelped and ran up to Slim Daddy’s mama’s lap and wouldn’t move….lol
Miz ChiChi has now chewed threw 2 mouse cords……Slim Daddy wasn’t amused! That’s why I can’t post any pics right now because I’m on the kids computer which is a linux platform and my camera doesn’t work on it.
Of course I *had* to buy ChiChi some clothes! I bought her a cute pink jacket lined in fleece with a pink boa trim on the collar, a black and pink sweatshirt that says “Fashion to the Bone” and a black patent leather collar with a rhinestone buckle w/hanging rhinestone heart. Her leash matches. I was going to buy these cute little dog shoes to go with the clothes but I thought Slim Daddy and my mom would have me committed. bwah!
